Peter Aytug has been in the real estate business for more than 30 years. He founded York Funding LLC in 2010 to provide hard money loans to real estate professionals who purchase short sales and bank owned REO properties. Since 2009, Peter Aytug has personally owned and managed over a hundred properties nationwide. From 1999 to 2009 he founded and managed Northern Funding, LLC. Northern Funding was engaged in financing real estate professionals with short-term commercial loans similar to York Funding.
During his tenure at Northern Funding, Peter closed approximately 2,700 loans with an aggregate value of $895 million over an eight-year period. At any given time, the loan portfolio averaged in excess of $180 million. Prior to Northern Funding, from 1994 to June of 1999, Peter Aytug was employed by Gala Resources, a company that is also similarly engaged in financing real estate investors. Prior to 1994, he formed a company that provided consulting services to Wall Street firms. In its first years of business, Transaction Control Systems (TCS) grew to 125 employees. From 1985 to 1994, Peter purchased, owned, and managed approximately forty income producing properties located in New York and New Jersey.
Rhea Stathatos oversees the implementation and management of turnaround strategies at York Funding, which she founded in 2010. Such strategies include rehabilitation and development, stabilizing and repositioning properties, loan workouts and restructurings, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, operations management, and servicing. Since 2009, Rhea Stathatos has owned and managed more than a hundred properties. Prior to York Funding, Rhea spent six years working with various New York based real estate lenders and investors originating and managing large pools of short-term commercial loans.
At any given time, the loan portfolio that Rhea managed was in excess of $60 million. From 1996 to 2004 Rhea was employed by Gala Resources, a company similarly engaged in financing real estate investors. During her employment at Gala Resources she managed a loan portfolio that averaged $130 million. During that period, Gala Resources closed 6,600 loans totaling $1.2 billion. From 1986 to 1996, Rhea Stathatos served as Director of Asset Management for Helmsley Spear Inc., overseeing the turnaround of distressed and opportunistic principal real estate transactions for the firm. These transactions included investments in multi-family, office, retail, hotels, self-storage, and commercial land.

Alice worked as a consultant from 1980 -1989 researching banking transactions and recovered millions of dollars for the following firms: Bear Stearns, Dean Witter, Security Settlement Corporation, Josephthal & Co. Merrill Lynch, Paine Webber & Blythe Eastman Dillon.
In 1989 Alice took a full time position with Bear Stearns & Co. in the Futures Accounting Department as a Senior Accountant responsible for third party execution revenue and expenses, profitability analysis. From 2003 until the present Alice has been employed as accounting manager for Northern Funding LLC & York Funding LLC specializing in private lending in Real Estate. She is responsible for overseeing all transactions for over 60 companies.
Donna Leone worked for Leona Helmsley, for over 10 years and has extensive real estate experience, after Mrs. Helmsley Donna worked for Irving Schneider , Management team included, The Flatiron Building, Empire State Building, 1440 Broadway, 1384 Broadway, 261 5th Avenue and other commercial and residential properties.
Donna maintained properties occupied with qualified tenants through advertising, lead follow up, property showings for prospective tenants.
Developed rental agreements, selects qualified tenants, collects deposits and rents, enforces terms of rental agreements, resolves tenant complaints, oversees eviction proceedings if necessary. Keeps properties occupied with qualified tenants through advertising, lead follow up, property showings for prospective tenants.
Schedules maintenance and repairs, negotiates contracts with vendors, regularly inspects property to ensure it is in good working order, quickly resolves emergency maintenance issues. Donna keeps an open dialogue with property owner on vacancies, tenants, physical condition of property, financial issues.
